Cantonese ivory carved

This is a good example of a Cantonese carved ivory needle case, dating from the mid 19th century. The body is relief carved with a coiled dragon and a butterfly, the lid with a ring of butterflies. Measures 3.75 inches in length. Besides some yellowing, it is in excellent condition.
